Masterchef Pooja Dhingra's Gratitude For This Place Is Super Awesome

Celebrity Chef and co-judge on the popular culinary show MasterChef India 2023 Season 8 Pooja Dhingra recently embarked on an enchanting journey to the Kingdom of Bhutan. She captioned her Instagram video post 'Your Sign to Visit Bhutan' and showed gratitude towards Bhutan's food, hospitality, culture, and beauty. "Blown away by the culture, the food, the hospitality, and the beauty of this place," Macron Queen of India wrote on her social media in mid-November of 2023.


Bhutan also known as the "Land of the Thunder Dragon," is located between the colossal shoulders of India and China. Its breathtaking mountains, vibrant culture, and spiritual serenity put its' high-spirited presence in harmony with nature.


In her video post, Pooja presented a short slideshow with a glimpse of Buddha's statue, followed by scenes of Bhutan's diverse cultural inclusions like dance, dresses, people, etc. She's a chef so she can't skip food in pictures, you can notice dim sums in the video. Pooja Dhingra's Instagram post on Bhutan reflects a hint towards a liking for true happiness and a much-needed embrace of nature, a culture that values peace and the simple joys of life.

In another post on Bhutan on Instagram, Pooja wrote 'Bhutan, you have my heart' with a compilation of photos from her Bhutan visit in November 2023.

Pooja, a graduate in hospitality from one of the World's finest culinary schools in Switzerland and a diploma holder in Patisserie from London is an Indian pastry chef and businesswoman who founded the Le15 chain of patisseries delivering sweet delights from their menu across several Indian locations, especially in Mumbai.

Pooja was featured in 'The Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list along with Vinesh Johny, co-founder of 'Lavonne- Academy of Baking Science and Pastry Arts in 2014. She co-authored an audiobook titled 'The Wholesome Kitchen: Nourish. Energize. Indulge' and sole-authored 'Big Book of Treats'. 


At present, alongside Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna, Pooja is mentoring contestants and making a buzz among lovers of one of the most successful and loved cooking shows MasterChef India which premiered on 16 October on Sony TV. She replaced Michelin star chef Garima Arora, co-host of the Masterchef India Season 7 early this year.
