I was discussing healthy vegetarian soup options for kids with my friend that should be unique, easy, quick to prepare at the convenience of home.

Although drumsticks aren't my obvious choice for a soup or even into regular meals. Still, I made my mind to try the drumstick soup recipe at least once for sure. And, discovered it as "the best" that should be listed further and frequently in my recipes collection.

  • Drumstick (Sajen ki Fali)- 3 
  • Chopped Bottle guard-1 cup
  • Onion- 1(chopped)
  • Garlic-2 clove (optional)
  • Oil-1 teaspoon
  • Bay leaf-1
  • Water- 2 cups
  • Salt- 1/2 tablespoon (as per taste)
  • Cashew nut-5-6
  • Crushed black peppercorn-1 teaspoon
  • Butter- 1 teaspoon (for top-up optional)
  • Chopped green coriander- to garnish

Note: Wash Drumstick under freshwater thoroughly to remove all the dirt. Then, chopped them into 2'inch size sticks

Preparation Process

Close the lid of the cooker and cook the soup mix on a medium flame for 7-8 minutes. Wait till the cooker release 6-7 whistles. Once the cooker releases its pressure open the lid.
